Muntok's peppercorn comes from Bangka Island. It is in the west, off the coast of Sumatra where you'll find the best Muntok white pepper plantations.

To obtain white pepper, it is collected ripe and stripped of its pericarp, the skin that envelops the seed.

Moderately spicy with minty notes, white Muntok pepper will spice up your fish dishes, fried vegetables and chocolate desserts.
