Laudemio was, in medieval tradition, the part of the harvest reserved for the lord. The Laudemio of the Marquesas Antinori maintains what its name "declares": the best of the olive groves of the Tenute del Chianti, cultivated and produced exclusively to achieve the best quality. Since 1990, a Consortium for the promotion of oil from central Tuscany has been created, which regulates, by strict rules, the production of Laudemio oil.
It has particular organoleptic characteristics which make it unique.
